Sometimes when the inspiration comes to you, you have to embrace it! At the moment I am a bit of a creative explosion! So many ideas bouncing around my head (like ping-pong balls) whether for stories or poems. All set in this little fictional village called Amesmouth!
This week saw the release of my second book. It is a short festive poem called "A Hungry Monster for Christmas" about a young lad called Steve who goes searching for presents on the night before Christmas and disturbs a monster. My good friend Tony again provided the illustrations, and I am very grateful to him for that. It looks really smart. I just hope it is not too unsettling for children! I'm sure it isn't.
There is more to come from Amesmouth - lots of strange things seem to happen there! Indeed I have recently started a second longer story, which I imagine will be completed by early next year. By that time I will probably have had some 2,000 or so ideas!
